Her Voice Resides are a four-piece rock band from the Isle of Harris, in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland.

The band was formed in 2005, and draws its influences from bands such as Metallica, Foo Fighters, Iron Maiden, and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

Named after a Bullet For My Valentine track, Her Voice Resides (HVR) have gigged extensively in the Western Isles and Highlands of Scotland.

In June 2008, HVR released their debut album, entitled ‘Flashbulb Memory’, consisting of 13 original tracks.

The album was recorded in its entirety in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, at a studio owned by Paul Matheson, a friend of the band. The recording process took 13 months in total.

HVR are unsigned, and have co-ordinated packaging and distribution of the album themselves.
