Masta Mix Records was founded in 1997 by the Rap artist Traum as a Vehicle to get real Hip Hop on the store shelves and directly compete with the Major Labels. Since then by following the lead of the Likes of Def Jam and Tommy Boy Records Masta Mix Records has become one of the most successful true Independent Hip Hop Labels in the country.
